Lost at Sea
Come aboard for the adventure of a lifetime…your journey begins with a brief, yet thorough, introduction to the art of sailing. Our Certified Captain/Instructor will sail you through the basics of this fantastic sport. Then, our newly trained sailors will break into groups and embark on a journey to Save the Day!
The success of this program depends on the utilization of:

Teamwork
Shared vision
The sailors will be given a few simple guidelines by which to complete their mission; the rest is up to the group and the individuals that comprise each sub-group. Several twists of fate will be thrown their way, thus making a seemingly simple task seem like Mission Impossible!
PURPOSE: This activity is designed to promote cooperation, trust and teamwork within a unique setting, qualified by special circumstances.
BACKGROUND: The CEO, CFO, and accountants are lost at sea. However, the last report stated that they left the staff Bonus Checks on a sea marker, somewhere in the Gulf before their ship went down. Hearty sailors are needed to find the Bonus Checks while searching for those “Lost at Sea.”
These hearty sailors will be required to learn the basics of sailing and orienteering in order to help their co-workers. Once they have mastered these lessons, the teams will head out to sea. The "lost” will not be officially saved until all teams have found the necessary chits and buoys.
