Imagine this…you and your group are enjoying a getaway cruise! Relaxing by day on the ship’s deck while catching the rays and dancing the night away with cocktails and laughter! But then tragedy strikes! The cruise ship runs aground a submersed coral reef and sinks into the Atlantic. Survivors spot a deserted island nearby and swim safely to shore!
Your challenge while on this island is to build a floating vessel with random objects that have been washed ashore. Along with the vessel building, groups will be faced with a number of challenges vital to scoring at the conclusion of the event.
Our “Shipwreck Survivor” event is staffed by recreation professionals that add fun and humor to the event and ensure safety. Staff will be dressed in “themed” attire and will continuously inspect each vessel, enforcing the rules governing design and construction.
If your group has what it takes to survive this shipwreck, then come on out and take on the challenge!
An hour and a half will be allotted for creative development of the vessels and participation in the challenge stations. Survivors will then take to the sea to test their seaworthiness. Two members of each team must board the craft and cruise fast and furious around a buoy and back to shore!
